KYC & CDD

Trust

For a trust applicant, we are required to identify the key elements and controlling parties of the Trust. Please provide the below CDD:

Relevant extracts of the Trust Deed which detail the below:

  • Front cover page
  • Name of the Trust
  • Date and country of establishment
  • Beneficiaries or class of beneficiaries
  • Trustees, Settlors, Protectors or Enforcers as applicable
  • Any deeds of appointment and retirement from the date of the Trust settlement
  • Authorised signatory list, with specimen signatures
  • Trustee minutes confirming the opening of a dealing account with CIG*
  • Applicable KYC/CDD for all trustees
  • Applicable KYC/CDD for the settlor
  • Applicable KYC/CDD for any Protector or Enforcer, if applicable
  • Individual KYC/CDD for at least 2 Signatories**

If the Settlor of the Trust is deceased, please provide the below:

  • Name of the Settlor
  • Date of Birth
  • Certified copy of the individual’s death certificate

*Only required where the application forms have not been signed by the Trustees

**If the account is reviewed as high-risk, please note that we will require individual KYC on all Trustees and Authorised Signatories.

Please note: For non-English documents, we will require a certified copy of the original document in its native language. This will need to be submitted along with an English translated copy, translating the pertinent points of the document. We will require the translators full contact details to be provided.
