As part of our ongoing commitment to improving our user experience, we are excited to announce several important updates to our client portal. These changes are designed to improve security, enhance navigation, and enable us to build and deploy new features more efficiently.
Transitioning from Memorable Word to Two-Factor Authentication
To strengthen the security of your account, we will be replacing the current memorable word authentication with a more robust two-factor authentication (2FA) system. 2FA is an added layer of security that requires you to provide two forms of identification before accessing your account. The first form will be your existing Portal password, while the second is a unique verification code generated by a registered device. This ensures that even if someone obtains your password, they would still need the verification code to access your account.
From the 27th May, you will be required to setup two-factor authentication. To do this, log in to your account and when prompted, download a 2FA app to a smartphone or computer. When you open the app, you will be instructed on how to link your 2FA app to your Portal account. Once you have successfully set up 2FA authentication, you will need to provide a verification code from your linked app each time you log in to your account.
To make it easier for you to find what you need within the Portal, we have revamped the navigation. We are introducing a new sidebar menu that will allow you to quickly access different sections of the portal, such as your account Portfolios, Reports and Dealing. This streamlined navigation will help you save time and enjoy a more user-friendly experience.
Rebuilt Infrastructure for Faster Feature Development
Our team has been working to rebuild our underlying infrastructure, enabling us to develop and deploy new features and enhancements more efficiently. This upgrade will not only improve the overall performance of the Portal, but will also pave the way for the addition of new features that will further enrich your experience and help you manage your investments more effectively.
