Capital International Group Completes Acquisition of Affinity’s Investment Business
Expanding horizons: Strengthening our team and proposition in Jersey
We are pleased to announce the conclusion of the transaction to acquire APW Investors Limited (APWIL), the investment arm of Affinity Private Wealth.
This marks an important milestone in Capital International’s journey – strengthening our independence, expanding our investment services in Jersey, and reaffirming our commitment to delivering client-first, boutique-style service with local expertise and global reach.
What This Means for our Clients
With the transaction now complete, Capital International’s Jersey team is established at 27 Esplanade, St Helier. This positions us at the heart of the island’s financial services hub, closer to our clients and partners, and part of Jersey’s highly regarded financial ecosystem.
For clients, this brings clarity and continuity. While Affinity Private Wealth continues to operate separately, all investment management services will now be provided completely independently under the Capital International brand.
Conscious Capital and Shared Vision
Our growth is driven by purpose. At Capital International, we believe in the principles of conscious capital – where success is measured not only by financial results, but also by the positive impact we create for clients, employees and our communities.
Both Capital International and APWIL are proud signatories of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investing (UN PRI). This shared vision for responsible and sustainable investing reflects our joint commitment to stewardship, transparency, and building strategies that create long-term value for future generations.
Supporting Jersey’s Community
We are excited to deepen our roots in Jersey, not only as a financial services provider but as an active contributor to the island’s social and economic wellbeing. In line with our activities in the Isle of Man and South Africa, we will continue to support community initiatives through charitable partnerships, sponsorships and employee volunteering.
Looking Ahead
The conclusion of the APWIL transaction builds on the solid foundation laid by our earlier acquisition of Martello Asset Management, a respected Jersey-based firm with global capability. Together, these two milestones significantly expand both the depth of our team and the breadth of our proposition on the island.
With the expertise of Martello now fully embedded, and the addition of APWIL strengthening our client offering, Capital International is positioned to deliver independent, boutique-style investment services backed by a highly experienced team and the support of an international platform.
This is more than growth – it is the deliberate shaping of a proposition that combines local insights with global reach, enabling us to serve clients with clarity, independence, and innovation. We look forward to continuing to build long-term relationships in Jersey and to contribute, meaningfully to the island’s financial ecosystem.
