Susan joined Capital International in May 2019 as Group Company Secretary, bringing with her 25 years’ of experience in financial services and 13 in company secretarial / corporate governance roles. Susan qualified as a Chartered Company Secretary in 1993 whilst working at Coutts & Co (Isle of Man) Limited. In 1995 she joined Barclays, initially as Financial Controller for Barclays Private Bank and Trust (Isle of Man) Limited and later taking over the role of Company Secretary for Barclays Private Clients International Limited, the key offshore banking subsidiary of Barclays Bank PLC.
