A biology graduate of Edinburgh University, Dougy built a successful, 9-year career as a chef, running his own events business and enjoying the entrepreneurial challenges of the industry. In 2020, he chose to pursue a new direction, passing the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting and the CFA UKIMC.
Dougy joined the Group in 2025 following its acquisition of APW Investors Limited where he worked as an investment associate. The acquisition saw a continuation of his role which includes responsibility for private client and intermediary relationships as well as the operational delivery of wealth management services.
Dougy is client-focused, his responsibilities including oversight reporting and relationship management, as well as ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day routines. He is a non-voting member of Investment Committee.
