Charlie Woolnough

Charlie Woolnough has over 15 years of dedicated experience in the alternative investment industry with specific expertise in governance, prime brokerage, fund administration and operational best practice. Until 2013 he was a senior member of Credit Suisse’s European prime brokerage division with responsibility for relationships with some of the firm’s largest alternative investment fund clients. Before his move into prime brokerage, he was EMEA Head of Sales for Credit Suisse’s fund administration business. Prior to its acquisition by Credit Suisse in 2010, he was Managing Director of ABN AMRO Fund Services in the UK (formerly Fortis) and Co-Head of European Sales and Relationship Management. From 2000 to 2006 Charlie worked for HSBC Alternative Fund Services (formerly Bank of Bermuda Global Fund Services). Additionally, he has contributed to numerous AIMA publications over the years and was most recently a co-author and steering committee member for AIMA’s Revised Guide to Sound Practices for Hedge Fund Valuation 2013.  Charlie holds a degree in Business Law and a Masters Degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Investment Fund Director. In addition to his role on the board of Capital International Bank, Charlie sits on the Group’s Oversight Committee.
