Who is Zandile? 
Zandile Ndhlovu is South Africa’s first Black African Freediving Instructor, and the founder of The Black Mermaid Foundation, an organization seeking to create diverse representation in the Ocean Arena, her work centres around enabling access to Ocean spaces to local ocean facing communities in hope to diversify Ocean spaces recreationally, professionally and in sport, while creating a new generation of Ocean guardians. Zandile is a change agent, using her voice to create the needed expansion in society, through her work in the Foundation, Public Speaking and on her Social platforms.

Who is David? 
David is Chief Investment Officer at Capital International Group. Overseeing product development, he is the driving force for innovation across the Group. Before Capital, David worked at Mercury Asset Management Limited where he managed bond portfolios and the asset allocation for over $1.5 billion of client assets, including eight unit trusts and reached the rank of Vice President in 2001. The following year he became Head of Investment Management at Capital International Group and was later appointed Group Chief Investment Officer in 2008. David is a Chartered Wealth Manager and a Chartered Fellow of CISI.

Who is Werner? 
Werner joined the Group in 2017 as COO tasked with ensuring the execution of the Group’s strategic plan including the development of Capital International Bank. In 2022, he then took on the additional responsibility of Deputy CEO. Having been instrumental in the launch of Capital International Bank and a key driver in its success post-launch, in 2023, Werner was appointed Managing Director of Capital International Bank. Werner has worked in senior positions in financial services for 22 years and is also a Chartered Accountant.

Who is Russell? 
Russell joined the Group in 2025 following its acquisition of APW Investors Limited where he was an Investment Director for 14 years. In his role at Capital International (Jersey) Limited, Russell has direct responsibility for building and implementing investment strategies. A Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, Russell was formerly Head of Investments for a private bank, where he worked for 11 years, and prior to this was an Assistant Director at SG Hambros. He moved to Jersey in 1991, having completed a Lloyds Bank graduate training programme, and worked for the bank developing their client base in the UK, Europe and southern Africa. 2018 saw him awarded the Sustainable Investment Professional Certificate by the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University, Canada.

Who is Anthony? 
Anthony was appointed Chairman of Capital International Group at the beginning of 2016. As a founder, Director and one of the controlling shareholders of the Group, Anthony has previously held the offices of Finance, Investment Administration, Operations, and Business Development. From 2004 to 2016 he served as Chief Executive Officer of Capital International Limited. In 2008, Anthony became Chair of the Isle of Man Fund Management Association and sat on the main committee until 2010. Anthony is a past president of the Isle of Man branch of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and is currently a council member of the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce.

Who is David? 
David has extensive experience in the Finance industry across multiple jurisdictions and international markets. Before being appointed 'Commercial Director - Platform' in 2023, David held the role of Commercial Director for Capital International Limited (South Africa) for over 5 years. In this role, David was responsible for growing the Group's presence in the South African and African markets leading the teams in our Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban offices. Prior to this, he spent almost 30 years with Lloyds Banking Group and Lloyds International Private Bank in a variety of roles, with 10 years spent in their international offices. David is a Chartered Financial Planner through the Chartered Insurance Institute UK, Chartered Director with the UK institute of Directors as well as a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
