Who is Jeanine? 
Jeanine joined Masthead as a Practice Management Consultant in 2017. Since then, Jeanine was approved as a Category I Compliance Officer and is currently under supervision for Category II and IIA. In 2023 Jeanine, ascended to the role of Area Manager in Johannesburg. She assists FSPs and other businesses to implement processes that align with regulatory developments and to establish a culture of best business practices, risk management and compliance.

Terry Elmaleh BA, MCSFS (UK), is a qualified Handwriting Expert in the fields of Forensic Handwriting and Document Examination as well as Handwriting Analysis. Her expertise and specialised knowledge include signature and handwriting authentication and verification encompassing the identification of non genuine writings and signatures, document tampering and presenting expert witness testimony at various courts in South Africa. As a Handwriting Analyst her skills cover personality profiling.

Terry will explain the scientific and examination principles that support Forensic Handwriting Examination and Handwriting Analysis as well as explain what these 2 areas of handwriting specialisation comprise.  She will present different types of forgeries including some clarification pertaining to electronic and digital signatures. She will share what can be revealed about a writer’s personality from handwriting and signatures as well as share some fascinating personalities through their writing.
Who is Werner? 
Werner joined the Group in 2017 as COO tasked with ensuring the execution of the Group’s strategic plan including the development of Capital International Bank. In 2022, he then took on the additional responsibility of Deputy CEO. Having been instrumental in the launch of Capital International Bank and a key driver in its success post-launch, in 2023, Werner was appointed Managing Director of Capital International Bank. Werner has worked in senior positions in financial services for 22 years and is also a Chartered Accountant.

Antony has worked in offshore financial services for over 20 years. He joined in the Group in 2010 tasked with re-energising the business development team and after a number of roles he now leads the Group’s investment management business. Prior to joining Capital, Antony worked for a major life assurance company where he drove the development of a new range of inheritance tax products and raised over £100m from UK IFAs and their clients. He is a Chartered Director and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and is a Committee member of the Isle of Man branch.

Anthony was appointed Chairman of Capital International Group at the beginning of 2016. As a founder, Director and one of the controlling shareholders of the Group, Anthony has previously held the offices of Finance, Investment Administration, Operations, and Business Development. From 2004 to 2016 he served as Chief Executive Officer of Capital International Limited. In 2008, Anthony became Chair of the Isle of Man Fund Management Association and sat on the main committee until 2010. Anthony is a past president of the Isle of Man branch of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and is currently a council member of the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce.

Who is David? 
David has extensive experience in the Finance industry across multiple jurisdictions and international markets. Before being appointed 'Commercial Director - Platform' in 2023, David held the role of Commercial Director for Capital International Limited (South Africa) for over 5 years. In this role, David was responsible for growing the Group's presence in the South African and African markets leading the teams in our Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban offices. Prior to this, he spent almost 30 years with Lloyds Banking Group and Lloyds International Private Bank in a variety of roles, with 10 years spent in their international offices. David is a Chartered Financial Planner through the Chartered Insurance Institute UK, Chartered Director with the UK institute of Directors as well as a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
