What is ESG?

Environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing refers to investment in assets which are thought to conduct sustainable business activities and which have a long-term positive impact on society and the environment.

In the last decade, the ESG investment landscape has altered drastically. As investors have begun to scrutinise the impact of their portfolios more closely, the range of ESG stocks available has increased significantly and the underperformance myth has been well and truly debunked.
