Antony Kelsey

Antony has worked in offshore financial services for more than 16 years having started his career in London working for a research and management consultancy house. In 2001 he moved to the Isle of Man to work for a South African financial services group, developing offshore investment business from South Africa and offshore portfolio bond business from the UK.

In 2004 he joined a privately owned life assurance company where he was responsible for driving the development of a new range of inheritance tax products raising over £100m in 6 years from UK IFAs and their clients.

Antony joined Capital International in 2010 to re-energise business development activity. He became Head of Business Development & Marketing for the Capital International Group in 2011 and was appointed to the Board of Capital Select Limited in 2012.

He works with UK IFAs to deliver bespoke investment solutions, with a particular focus on tax efficiency, as well as with IOM and international intermediaries seeking help with the delivery of offshore financial services to their clients. Antony is a member of the Personal Finance Society, a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and holds the Level 6 Certificate in Private Client and Investment Advice & Management.

Daren Ward

Having formerly worked as a Civil & Structural Engineer in the south-east of England, Daren ventured into financial services in the early 90’s working initially as a tied agent for Abbey Life. He went on to join Capital International in 2000 having spent several years working for Fidelity Investments in Kent.

He is the Design and Marketing Manager and makes up one of the five strong Business Development and Marketing Team. Not only is he responsible for all the branding, imagery and literature you see for the Capital International Group and its subsidiaries but is also involved at a strategic level, developing new products and solutions.

Daren is an active ambassador for the Group, representing us on the Douglas Development Partnership advisory Group, and has just been accepted onto the Manx Executive Challenge for 2014.

Daren also previously sat on the Steering Group for the Isle of Man Champions, as well as the two of the underlying advisory groups and also the Advisory Group for Age Isle of Man (formerly Age Concern). An active member of the marketing community Daren has sat on the local committee and is now the current chairman of the Isle of Man branch of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
