Ieda Gomes Yell

Senior Visiting Fellow, Oxford Institute for Energy Studies and FGV Energia

Ieda's career in the energy and infrastructure industries spans for over three decades, including market development, regulation, M&A, restructuring and operations. She spent nearly 14 years at BP plc as Country President Brazil and Vice President of New Ventures, Regulatory Affairs and BP Solar. Prior to BP, Ieda was the CEO of the largest gas utility in Brazil, the Sao Paulo Gas Company, which she successfully restructured and privatized. At the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies (UK) and FGV Energia (Brazil) she conducts research on natural gas, biogas and hydrogen in Latin America, South and Southeast Asia and Canada. She is currently coordinating a Task Force for Green Hydrogen for the Infrastructure Department of the Sao Paulo Federation for Industries.

The Rt Hon Mark Field

Former MP and Minister of State

With an outstanding background in law, politics and international affairs, The Right Honourable Mark Field is able to offer a unique view of the current geopolitical landscape. Mark has practised as a corporate lawyer before becoming director of his own lawyer recruitment firm, Kellyfield Consulting. After being elected to Parliament in 2001, Mark served as an MP for the Cities of London Westminster for over 18 years during which time he also held the positions of Minister for State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Vice-chair of the Conservative Party.

David Long

Chief Investment Officer, Capital International Group

David is Chief Investment Officer at Capital International Group overseeing the strategic decisions made by Capital's investment team. Bringing with him decades of experience in investment management, David has a strong understanding of market behaviour and that factors that influence it. Before Capital, David worked at Mercury Asset Management Limited where he managed bond portfolios and the asset allocation for over $1.5 billion of client assets, including eight unit trusts and reached the rank of Vice President in 2001. David is a Chartered Wealth Manager and a Chartered Fellow of CISI.
